Nikon 8mp Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom

I must admit I bought this camera because of its features and price, but mostly because its pretty, thin and red. I previously used a Kodak Easyshare I loved its ease of use but the color of the picture was not great and finally broke, so I decided to try the Nikon Coolpix.

The Nikon L18 is a bit different from what was the use of use and was not crazy about him at first, but the image quality has become really in me.

The Nikon has some great features. It has 8.0 megapixels so if you've been using one with less megapixels then you have to get a bigger SD card if we continue to have approximately the same number of images before downloading.

It has a 3.0-in LCD screen which is very large, it is a great feature. It has a regular viewer that allows the camera to be thin, but makes it a little harder to take pictures in the sunlight because sreens alone can be hard to see outside.

The camera has easy auto mode, scene mode, movie mode and macromode. You can also connect directly to a TV, computer or printer.

You can easily shoot in automatic mode if you do not like having to adjust the camera settings. Easy Auto mode, face recognition is that the camera will focus on the face. It automatically adjusts the focus and flash. And he has a wonderful feature, Anti-Shake, where the camera increases the shutter speed the camera or when the subject moves to reduce blurry images.

The camera has a timer.

The camera has a macro mode for taking pictures as close as 5.9 ins. This provides a clearer picture that only zooming in automatic mode that can provide a simple image Grainer.

In the scene mode the camera automatically adjusts to several different modes. The scene modes include portrait, landscape, sports, night portrait, party / indoor, beach / snow, sunset, dusk / dawn, night landscape, close up, museum, copy, backlight and panorama.

While this is a point and shoot camera, so different modes the camera did a little more complicated to navigate, but the quality of the photos are well worth the effort. I still have my user reference guide occasionally, but I'm very excited about taking pictures now.
